Selecting a Title UGH

I have struggled with a title for the book. My assistant on the project is saying Proven Solutions for Building a Website That Sells Like Crazy. I think the Like Crazy part seems a bit too much and takes away a bit from the professionalism

All of a sudden it, hit me...what about..."Set You Sites on SELL". My assistant did not really like it but when I bounced it off niece Kassie, she was all about it.

I gave the title to the graphic artist who does the cover using the other title as a sort of tag line

Web CEO reveals for the first time...

Proven Solutions to Build a Website That Sells

The designer however used that tag as the title and ya know what? It looked really good on the design. Now I don;t know what to do.

Writing My Book

What am I doing? I haven't another moment to spare and I am starting another project. I am writing a book about how to build a website that sells. Sure there are 1000 books out there about website building and another 1000 books about promoting it. These processes are interwoven though and there is no resource that covers both.

Consider this, if you want to build an effective website you must consider the following:
  • How to pick a domain name
  • When people are searching for your products/services, what are they typing in the search engines (SEO or Search Engine Optimization)
  • What is the objective of your website anyway?
  • What is client facing content and why is it SO important?
  • What are words that sell?
  • and much more...
This book does not go into the details of putting the website online, there are many inexpensive solutions for that. It tells you what type of information to put on your sites to change visitors into customers AND how to get visitors to the site in the first place.
